Amanda Phillips is currently a specialist developing nutrition papers for NZIHF with a mission to get people back in touch with what their “gut” feeling is telling them. Amanda completed her Bachelor of Physical Education (Hons) in 2002, before working in the fitness industry running her own Personal Training business for many years.
In 2008 she began working at the New Zealand Institute of Health and Fitness, tutoring students to become successful fitness professionals themselves. In 2010 Amanda became involved in the product development team at NZIHF, and in 2013 completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science endorsed in Human Nutrition. Amanda juggles her kids with working as a nutrition practitioner and researching everything nutrition for NZIHF.
