Fitness in a powerful tool that can be used in many ways. Since starting to exercise at an early age I have noticed great benefits to my mental and physical health which have helped to shape me into the person that I am today. Throughout my career as a personal trainer I have been lucky enough to witness how fitness can positively impact an individuals life in the same manor. Fitness allows us as humans to push the boundaries of what we consider possible and discover aspects of our psychology and physiology that we would otherwise never experience.

Throughout my career working as a personal trainer I have had a strong passion for sharing my knowledge and experience with others. Working at NZIHF has given me the opportunity to share this passion for fitness and education with the next generation of personal trainers in New Zealand, helping them to become confident, knowledgeable and personable mentors to those seeking guidance on their fitness journey.
How I Work with Students and the Industry
I personally believe that the greatest personal trainers gather the majority of their knowledge through application on the gym floor. My students build knowledge through real world experience, training clients and applying what they read and learn in labs. There are no secrets, I share my knowledge, success, and even my failures from my time in the industry so that my students start their career with confidence in their ability to change lives.
