Why Fitness Matters
Fitness and health are very important for every individual but usually in different ways. Whether it is so that you can play with your kids to being able to achieve personal goals like a muscle-up or a handstand, fitness is the thing that can allow you to be happy physically and mentally. Fitness is a very small part of the overarching picture but it can contribute massively to achieving life goals and help to de-stress when we need it as well. “The body will become better at whatever you do, or don’t do. If you don’t move, your body will make you better at not moving. If you move, your body will allow more movement.” – Ido Portal
Why I'm Working at NZIHF
Teaching at NZIHF is an opportunity to expand my knowledge and impact on the industry that I love. Being able to act as a catalyst to many personal trainers joining this great industry is an honour and privilege to have as part of my career.
How I Work with Students and the Industry
I like to be very hands on in my approach to learning, I believe you should be able to 'walk the walk' and not just 'talk the talk.' At the same time I don't take myself too seriously and like to have fun.
